Motorcyclist Injured in Black Hawk County Crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a one vehicle crash northeast of Cedar Falls Saturday evening. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies say the crash occurred just after 6:00PM in the area of North Union Road and Skyline Drive. Few details have been released but the driver was wearing a helmet and protective riding gear. Paramedics determined the driver was in critical condition and was flown by helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.  Cedar Falls Police, Cedar Falls Fire Rescue, Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies and Mercy One paramedics all responded to the scene.
