Three people were injured and were taken to area hospitals following a crash in Waterloo Tuesday afternoon. The crash involved several vehicles and a semi, and occurred on Washington Street and Hawthorne Avenue. The semi came to rest on the sidewalk in front of the Dollar Tree store. Officials say that the injuries were minor. A total of seven cars were involved in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
