Hy-Vee held a special presentation Friday morning at the Cedar Falls College Square store to announce the donation of over $139,000 to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. The donation is part of the 100 Million Meals Challenge, a collaborative partnership with Feeding America that brings together customers, suppliers and food bank partners to help support people across the Midwest who experience food insecurity. NEIFB Executive Director Barb Prather says this will be a major help in the Food Bank’s continuing mission.
